CCT researchers Naomi Hupert and Lauren Bates co-presented this discussion of the challenges encountered while conducting a five-year summative and formative evaluation of a state wide reading program. The presentation drew from CCT's five-year evaluation of New Mexico's Reading First program. Naomi and Lauren shared findings based on longitudinal analyses of student–level data for students from K through third grade. They also explored teachers’ survey data about program implementation that have been matched to student-level reading outcomes.
