Is it Live, or is it Digital? Or Does it Matter?

In "Early Science and Engineering Learning Through Digital Media," on the Association for Library Service to Children ALSC Blog, CCT researcher Alice Kaiser summarizes a recent study that shows that digital media, such as videos and apps, can support science learning.

The research was a randomized controlled study of 450 4–5-year-olds from low-income families, and used resources based on the PBSKIDS series The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That!
