Lauren B. Goldenberg has been working in education for over 20 years. Since joining CCT in 2002, she has worked on a variety of research and evaluation projects that involve teacher professional development, middle school and high school science, primary source documents, and technology integration. Her research interests include the role of technology in teacher learning and using computers for language learning.
Before joining CCT, Dr. Goldenberg worked on school reform and teacher professional development projects at New York University. Prior to that, she worked with teachers around the world on incorporating technology into their practice as a product specialist for an international educational software company based in Israel. She began her career in education as a teacher of English as a Second Language to high school and adult students. She has also taught graduate courses at a variety of institutions in second language learning as well as educational technology, and has been an adjunct instructor at New York University.
Dr. Goldenberg received her Ph.D. in educational communication and technology from New York University, master's degree in TESOL from Teachers College, Columbia University, and bachelor's degree in English and American Literature from Brandeis University.
