Center for Arts Education Career Development Program
2000 to 2001

CCT joined with The Center for Arts Education (CAE) to evaluate the 10-month pilot phase of CAE's Career Development Program, designed to bridge CAE-supported school activities with workplace opportunities in arts and arts-related industries. Primary areas of investigation were:

  1. the preparation and placement of students;
  2. the extent to which participants felt supported by the Career Development Program staff;
  3. the extent to which participants felt the internships were valuable for them personally and organizationally (in the case of work site supervisors); and
  4. the extent to which students found new opportunities and horizons through exposure to arts-related industries.
